What does 200 mean to you?

What does 200 mean to you?

If you answered: “It’s 100 less than the number of Spartans defending the pass at Thermopylae,” you’d be correct, but not quite what I’m looking for.

Actually, it’s an audiobook milestone for me.

The first audiobook I produced was a short overview about adult ADHD. Clocking in at only 33 minutes worth of sound, it was a great first project for someone jumping into audiobook narration. That was back in Nov. 2017.

And it just keeps selling.

Slowly but surely the sales keep ticking up. One here, two there.

Now I’ve arrived at 200.

It’s a small milestone to be sure, but it represents forward progress in something I know I can do and do well.

Maybe when I get to 300 I’ll climb to the top of the giant woodchip pile in my front yard and proclaim in my huskiest voice that, “THIS. IS. SPARTA!!”

It could happen.
